As we stand on the sacred threshold of history, the Historic Edenton District Church of God in Christ joyfully invites you to a Pre-Conference Celebration Worship Experience marking 90 years of faithfulness, service, and community impact.
This moment is more than a service—it is a holy gathering of remembrance and renewal.
For nine decades, the Edenton District has been a pillar of holiness, prayer, evangelism, and leadership throughout northeastern North Carolina. Through changing seasons and challenging times, God has proven Himself faithful, sustaining His church through generations of believers who dared to trust Him fully.
Now, we pause—not to look back in nostalgia—but to honor what God has done and consecrate ourselves for what He is yet to do.
A Sacred Beginning to a Historic Week
This Pre-Conference Worship Experience will officially open the 90th Annual District Conference season with unified praise, fervent prayer, and prophetic expectation. It is a call for pastors, leaders, members, families, and friends to come together under one banner, declaring:
“God is God, and we believe God.”
We will gather on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM at The Evidence Church, 116 Country Club Road, Windsor, North Carolina, to lift one voice of thanksgiving and faith.
Leadership & Legacy
This historic celebration is prayerfully led by
Superintendent Gary L. Cordon, Sr. and District Missionary Audrey K. Whidbee, under the covering of Bishop LeRoy Jackson Woolard, Jurisdictional Prelate, and Supervisor Harrizene Keyes, Jurisdictional Supervisor.
Together, district churches—Edenton COGIC, Greater Harvest Fellowship COGIC, Liberty Worship Center COGIC, and The Evidence Churches COGIC—stand united, celebrating what the Lord has built among us.
Why This Moment Matters
This Pre-Conference service sets the spiritual tone for the entire conference week. It is a moment to:
