Train Souls to Win Souls
The district’s learning pathway is designed for pastors, teachers, evangelists, missionaries, youth workers, music leaders, administrative workers, and believers answering God’s call to serve.
A Biblical Training Conviction
Discipleship must go beyond information to faithful practice. We aim to equip believers through the study of Scripture, the operation of the Holy Ghost, mentoring, practice, reflection, and ongoing accountability. Training content will follow the Church of God in Christ Holiness-Pentecostal tradition, with the King James Version as the primary biblical text.
Proposed Ministry Learning Tracks
Gospel Witness
Presenting the Gospel clearly; invitation and response; new-believer follow-up; compassionate outreach; prayer and personal testimony.
Foundations of Discipleship
How to read the Bible, assurance of salvation, prayer, holiness, the Holy Ghost, the local church, and spiritual formation.
Sunday School and Bible Teaching
Lesson preparation, contextual Bible interpretation, inclusive teaching, discussion leadership, and teaching different ages.
Pastoral and Ministry Leadership
Servant leadership, conflict resolution, pastoral care, governance, succession planning, and mentoring leaders.
Church Operations and Stewardship
Volunteer coordination, policies, financial controls, safeguarding, simple reporting, and responsible facilities care.
Kingdom Digital Ministry
Website management, ethical communication, email follow-up, digital privacy, search visibility, video and live-stream preparation.
How District Learning Will Operate
Our recommended format combines short courses, live workshops, supervised practice, reading assignments, and certificates of completion where approved. Training may draw on The Evidence Bible College and The Evidence Experience, while official COGIC resources remain authoritative for denominational expectations.
Foundations
An accessible first training track for all volunteers and new leaders, including confidentiality and appropriate care for children and vulnerable adults.
Ministry Specializations
Pastor-requested workshops for evangelism, missions, youth, women, music, Sunday School, and administration, with leaders mentoring other leaders.
Trusted Learning Resources
Official COGIC resources are valuable starting points. A.I.M. Fellowship links Sunday School, Music, Youth, Missions, and Evangelism. The International Department of Evangelism resources include evangelistic ministry materials and new-convert guidance. The international service directory provides access to additional church departments.
Course dates, instructors, fees, academic credit, and certificate recognition will be announced only after approved by district leadership. These are a proposed curriculum structure, not currently scheduled courses.
